My name is Jeppe Sørner and I were born on 1 October 1973. I was born deaf in the right ear and hard of hearing in the left ear.

I got my first hearing aid when I was about 3 years old. In early days my hearing dropped partly. But from about 6 years of age and above my hearing were stable. But in the past 15 years, hearing has started to become progressively worse again.

I get a CI surgery on both my ears October 6, 2016, and become sound connected at November 3, 2016. Therefore, I am among the few who get 2 CI implants at once, and therefore get CI sound in both ears simultaneously.
